AIRLOCK PLATES
The low-profile, pre-contoured design of the airlock® plates reduces the risks of hardware prominence and soft tissue irritation. The plates are made from Ti6A14V material and reinforced with type II anodization to maximize their mechanical strength and load-sharing capabilities. Oblong slots are incorporated for additional fixation and compression across the fusion site.
UNIVERSAL FUSION PLATES
Novastep’s proprietary Presslock® universal compression locking fusion plates are available in a variety of lengths, in both straight and H designs for universal application throughout the midfoot and rearfoot for the fixation of osteotomies, fractures and arthrodeses.
The Presslock® slot generates an additional 1.5mm of mechanical compression between two bone segments, before subsequent locking in the threaded part of the slot.
